+ READ ALL ABOUT IT! Thursday, 31 May 2007 project unconventional The constraints of time had become ever more surreal of late. As the mid-sem tests began drifting in my direction, I somehow, rather miraculously, still found time to create what would very well be my 5th blog in as many years. But really, half the fun from creating a blog lies in its designing process. Hence, design from scratch I did, and quite rightly so in a manner that would be deemed 'unconventional'. Initially sampling colours such as pink and red, I finally found respite in a lovely mix of green, gray, black, and white - leading to the conjuring of something of which I now present to you before your very eyes. In the course of designing this blog, I adhered to my wish of not straying too far from the "modern, trendy" theme that I implemented in one of my recent designs (pictured below). Perhaps the only significant change in the design may be observed from the extinction of the "curved corners" concept. That aside, the idea behind it was more or less retained.  It is also the first time that I've not used a single image that complements the overall design of the blog. Certainly a risky move, but it does seem to be turning out fine after all. Any comments and suggestions on the design would be much appreciated at this moment. =)) 00:18 // darren |
